Public Safety. Landry Architects has been involved in the design of numerous public safety facilities. Our process begins by helping police and fire chiefs develop a design program based on their needs and operational goals. We use our expertise to help these make their dream stations a reality through intelligent planning, creative problem solving and cost saving construction detailing and project management.
 We at Landry Architects understand that Fire Stations, Police Stations, and joint facilities are purely functional buildings. That’s why we examine every space, system, and surface in light of its purpose, then design with an eye toward maximizing functionality. A well designed public safety facility should help to strengthen a departments operations allowing better service for the public.
Over the years we’ve learned when working with a municipality the client is really the entire city. It is important to understand that whatever the final design is, in almost every case the citizens of the city or town will have to approve the funding of the project. On these projects helping the town officials demonstrate the necessity of the expense as well as how the project will benefit the citizens is a major part of the our job. |
